Awakening

Akihiko’s health was shot. Ever since the world went to hell every midnight, he barely slept. His athletic build shriveled from slender to skinny and dark circles formed around his eyes like a boy caving in to a chemical habit. His old life as an ordinary middle school felt like a distant memory, his days now spent in dread of the howling madness each night would bring. Every midnight, during the hour that should have spanned from 12:00 to 1:00 a.m., sanity ceased and the chaos began.

Uh, I'd appreciate a translation, if anyone has the time and kindness. It's probably edited/fake, but I'm quite... curious.

EDIT: It's Mshe's route altered through a cheat. Too bad, but lol.

(not totally related, but I really notice P4's influence on the additions to character portraits like Junpei and Yukari along with new characters like Saori and Rio, but keeping it close to P3's style. IMO, they did a nice job)

Can be expensive, is time-consuming, and almost as addictive as Exalted. I have a ginormous box now for all my beading stuff (loose beads, supplies, etc) along with a fishing tackle box of MORE beads.

I complained to Jen, my friend who got me into this, that this stuff was insanely addicting and it was all her fault for getting me into it. She started laughing and said she'd just introduced me to it---willpower was MY problem.

And then some. Beading, Writing, Exalted, World of Warcraft...

Because of the costs involved, I realized what with trying to save for a car/house, and constantly buying new beads, this habit needs to pay for itself. I've decided to try to sell some of the necklaces I've made, and I'm giving Kijiji a shot, first. Avoid shipping and whatnot. Some of the stuff I've made is under the cut (because I know some of you have been wondering about these things).

It's the first time in my life anyone in my family has ever called me artistic, which still seems like a really weird way to describe myself. Not once in 22 years have I ever been described as artistic, and when I was younger, I didn't really think much of the title - I never envied my friends their artistic ability (okay, save for Erin... I STILL have dozens of her old Sailor Moon pictures that she drew for me lovingly saved and put away), and while I'm a decent writer, I've never considered what I put down as art... not when I've got so many incredible writers out there as friends, and these people can evoke a wellspring of emotions with a few sentences. They are artists.

I was going to post a bunch of one liners about how I've been lately, then I realized how lame that is.

I've been not in the best of moods the past couple days until I realized the physical reason why today, which pretty much fixed the problem. That and a snickers bar. It's hard to feel like there's any progress towards anything when you don't allow yourself the time to work on progress. Sure I've applied to a couple jobs and thrown/refreshed my resume out there but now it's time for the waiting game or time to say a polite no to the couple financial positions that have tried to recruit me. This is not the army and I'm not interested in giving people financial advice or selling insurance to people, thanks.

I'm finally training on how to do live shows. It only took almost an entire year of being employed at this position to finally get the training. And that was with prodding. I like it. I realize there's somethings that I will not know and will flub cause I don't know better. I average one minor mess up a show during my training now, not that I remember having a major mess up at all. I also need to try and contact the host of the show before the one I'm training on and talk to him about voice acting cause he's done a bit of it and I'm a little curious.

Still haven't drawn a damn thing in a while. I should start throwing the 'then why do you call yourself an artist if you don't do it' at myself. I can think of an interesting inner-monologue coming of that. But in other semi creative things, I did pull both my electrics out of the corner and played them yesterday. It's amazing how the Ibanez was still pretty much in tune when all the strings on the Epiphone were sharp. Though, I'm pretty sure I played the Ibanez last.

Had an internet friend come visit last weekend. Was nice to finally meet someone via the internet that wasn't through warcraft and have it not be generally unsavory. I want to go back to Cheeseburger Cheeseburger and look at his picture on the wall and giggle. Dork.

New vehicle is running well. I want to get it washed and patch up the chips I saw on the front edge of the hood. I should probably get some form of guard there as well since it's agreed that it look like that spot will always get a couple stone chips. I enjoy how clean it is still inside, though there is a slight amount of clutter that is appearing in the cupholders.

Dollhouse is apparently cancelled. Fox is to blame of course. They never seem to think about when to place their shows. Friday nights is not a good time to try and get viewers generally speaking. I wouldn't be surprised if Fringe gets dumped somewhere along the way. Also a little bit annoyed at having to catch up with all my TV shows via the internet but training is important.

Not really much else to point out. My room is mostly clean but needs additional work (sounds like a B- grade). I need more eventful things to happen, like MC Lars coming to Rochester on the 5th. That's eventful. I really want to go and think I'll end up having to go by myself since I don't know anyone else who would be going. Or I need to make more eventful things to post about. I think it's the making part that I'm not doing too strongly at.
